So, what are Porcelain Veneers?
Using the highest quality dental labs in the country, the tooth veneers are created after a small bit of tooth is removed to make room for the prosthetic. Impressions are taken and then sent off to the labs for manufacture by highly trained dental technicians.
The dental veneers are made specifically for each patient and are tailored to fit your unique mouth. This means that the shape, color, and translucence will match your existing teeth perfectly.
After placement, your new veneers will look and feel like natural teeth. Some of the advantages of these veneers over dental bonding are: increased longevity, resistance to staining, and the look and feel of natural teeth. Your confidence in your smile will soar.
How long does the process take?
When you first come into our Longview offices, we will discuss all of the options and ensure that we’re completely aware of your exact specifications. This includes the color, translucency, and shape of your mouth.
We will prepare your teeth for the new dental veneers and take an impression for the laboratory. You’ll be given temporary veneers while the lab designs your permanent porcelain veneers.
Once the lab has the impressions, it usually takes a few weeks to manufacture the new veneers. You’ll then return to our offices in Longview, and be fitted with the permanent veneers. We will double check the fit, look, and feel of the replacements and complete the process.
